Fanvil x210 CTI from Windows client lose the +

Hello,
we have the 3cx windows client configured to send the call to a Fanvil x210. If we get now a lost call and we see the number in the callers list of the Windows appphone, the number is shown as:
+49<areacode><number>
if we do the recall direct form the fanvil the number on the display is converted to 0<areacode><number>
but if we send the same call from the windows app to the phone (CTI mode), the Fanvil sees the number as
49<areacode><number>

xxx (61) 015170XXX880 a callback call direct from Fanvil
xxx (61) 4915170XXX880 callback send via CTI funftion of the app to Fanvil
xxx (61) +4915170XXX880 callback from windows app direct
 
Hi Andreas,

So you mean you have an extension ie. 100 registered on the Windows app, and also provisioned on an X210?

And then you enable CTI mode on the Windows app? Confirm If I understood the above correctly.
 
Hi, yes we have a Phone and the client registered on extention 61.
If an external call comes in and is not picked up, the call is shown on the callers list as +49xxxx
if I click the number on the desktop app enabled in CTI mode, the call is started on the VANVIL, but without the +
we see on the display of the Vanfil 49xxx and this fails.
 
In your Windows app, under Settings > Account > Advanced Settings is this enabled by any chance?

Thanks for the Hint, no this was not set.
 
Ok then I suggest you enable it, because not all phone models are capable of using + over CTI (ie. Fanvil).


1. You will also have to create outbound rules that allow calls starting with 00

2. If you provider does not accept 00 and only allows calls in E164 format (with a + sign) you will have to strip the zeroes and prepend the plus in the outbound rule
