We are using Ver 8 (not free) with nexVortex as VoIP provider and one dedicated DID number for fax extension (888).
When we call the DID number from outside, the system picks the call but after few seconds it gets disconnected, with failed error because not registered, as you can see on log lines:

Thank you for your promt response and........
Yes, we restarted Fax server first and also restart all, but even after that log file still shows the unregistered error.

Extension 888 shows green light and registered idle on system extensions status panel, apparently it has been registered ok.
    Any ideas?.........

Do you have a fax connected to a phone line to do a test as calling from
A phone will result in a disconnect

Lets see if I do understand what you are asking me.
The Fax machine (hardware) is located at next door office and connected to a regular stand alone phone line.
That machine is working perfectly to send and receive faxes and we are using it to send a fax to one of our nexVortex DID numbers, the one with send fax to email extension configuration.
BTW, we installed RelayFax and assigned it a diffrent extension number and when we call that DID, the call get connected and we se some activity on RF console but after few seconds, RF received panel get an err or non-fax call error.

    Thank you
