Fax goes nowhere SP4

    running SP4, have the 888 extension enabled with an email address
    when I call inbound to a route defined to that extension, goes no where, just hangs up

    I see it in the call log, but no fax tones

    Any ideas?

    On that note, with the upgrade from SP3 to SP4 just now the FAX extensions are recognized as being on the WAN. However, I can not disable that check for FAX extensions.
    "Block WAN requests is ON"

    In my case the Patton lives next to the PBX on the same public IP /27 subnet. Starting with SP4 it stopped recognizing it's own local subnet as a valid source just because it has a public IP. This has not been an issue on v12 and v15 SP3

    I'll have to test inbound faxes tomorrow.

    Managed to fix Fax extension registration by adding my public IP subnet to the "LOCALSUBNETS" parameters under settings. That fixed the registration.

    Something to note, testing fax receive to the FAX to email extension tomorrow.
