One of my biggest hopes when moving to 3CX was that I could bring in all my fax DIDs and have them individually route to an email destination based on the DID. Apparently I was incorrect in my thinking and - while I can have a bunch of DIDs tied to a fax, there's only one email destination.

Any thoughts on how to actually achieve this?

Send the DID to the FAX of the EXTENSION:

Open the DID
Select Destination of the number:
Send Fax To
Select the Extension

This is how we do ours...

If you need to send the FAX to a Group - then create a dummy extension...
For all my dummy extensions - I have a GROUP called HIDDEN. Nobody has access to see hidden extensions in their phonebooks.

Craig,

How will the fax be converted to a PDF and emailed to an individual based on the DID in that scenario?

Thats just what it does.
By selecting Send Fax To as the behavior - it convert to PDF and then selecting the Extension says what email account it goes to.

Oh... I think I see. Send fax to "email of extension ####".

That's so simple if that's all it takes... :)

That's all it takes bro!! :p
