It would be nice it 3CX would fully support G722 since it provides better audio quality.
At least the "plain" G722 should be supported since it is the "latest technology from the eighties" ... and still provides better quality then the codecs supported by the 3CX system today. There even seems to be a free implementaion, so the work is almost done for you (http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-dev/2004-December/008111.html).
If G722.1 or .2 could be supported, even better. According to Wikipedia, G722.1 is available royalty-free.
I think it would be a great improvement, especialy for persons spending much time in telephone conferences.
PS: In know it is not that popular with comercial products, but speex would of course also be a good and cheap way to get startet wird "HD audio" and it would be quite easy to use in in your softphones.
