Need the ability to hide extensions for Ring Groups, Paging Groups, Call Queues and Digital Receptionist/IVR from the company address book just like a normal extension can be hidden. All of these group extensions are typically not for use by users. Internal users will try to dial the Digital receptionist and ring group extensions and interrupt the normal work flow of customers trying to call into the company.
Also, if the group/queue extension could be associated with a particular group just like a user extension then those group/queue extensions could be made available to only the users who were allowed to use them.
In addition, those groups/queues simply clutter up the company address book with extensions that most people are never going to use or more importantly should Not be using.

    Thanks

Would like to add, to be able to hide users Mobile numbers from the address book. There are many instances where a user does not want their personal cell number given out to everyone in the company, unlisted number or on a Do Not call list. But if it is tied to the system in forwarding rules it shows to everyone, definitely needs a check box to Not show in company address book

I do not see that, when an extension is set to forward to a mobile number, that the Phonebook carries this information.
The only way my mobile numbers show up in the Contacts "Phonebook" is to manually add it.
Perhaps you are referring to the 3cx Softphone client which shows this information.

Under each Extension > General tab there is a "Mobile Number" field. This field is used in the forwarding rules via the "Forward to Mobile" option to route calls as needed. The "Mobile Number" field shows in the company address book when using the 3CX desktop soft client and the mobile app. There should be a simply check box option to Not show in address book.
While I know it is possible to create a forwarding rule and manually enter an external number, this get cumbersome to retype or copy/paste it multiple times in the assorted forwarding rules. And it really gets awkward when a user's cell number changes then it has to manually changed in every forwarding rule instead of in a single location , i.e. the "Mobile Number" field.

Yep - you are taking about the softphones.
The deskphones do. Or get the mobile from the extension.

Th capability to be able to Hide Mobile Numbers, Ring Groups, Paging Groups, Call Queues and Digital Receptionist/IVR from the company address book is a basic, but highly desired feature. It is all about customization, the more customization the more functional the system will be therefore making it a more sought after.

Adding my voice here, please add a way to hide extensions for Ring Groups, Paging Groups, Call Queues, Digital Receptionist/IVR and mobile numbers from the company address book.
