I am using a Yealink T22P and 3CX is showing a newer firmware on the provisioning page. For various reasons, I would prefer to do a manual firmware upgrade.

Where can I find the firmware file on my debian installation? Thank you!

    Dear @JST ,

Here is the path of the downloaded firmware on debian /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/%%PROVSUBDIR%%/firmware_new/yealink

Thank you! I will now work on retrieving the firmware from there.

Just a suggestion: It would be nice to have a simple download button for the firmware. This way people could just do a manual upgrade if they choose to do so.

Here is what I did to download the firmware to my local desktop.

    1. Use console and locate the firmware as outlined in the post above.
    2. Copy firmware <YOUR_FIRMWARE> to /var/lib/3cxpbx/Data/Http/wwwroot/
    3. https://<YOUR 3CX IP>:5001/<YOUR_FIRMWARE>
    4. Download firmware.

This seems to be the easiest solution with my rather limited Linux skills. :)

Hope this will help someone else.

You can also locate the firmware by using favorite SFTP client like WinSCP or Fetch:cool:

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Host name is the IP of your installation, the port number should be 22
The username of the user that installed the PBX and the password.
Leave the file protocol to SFTP.
