Forward Call To Different External Numbers On Different Days

    Hi

    I don't think this is possible but thought it was worth asking.

    Basically we have a very simple setup in 3CX free version, with just 1 single extension.

    When the phone rings we have 6 cordless phones which all ring under the same extension.

    What I want to setup is for calls to be forwarded to different numbers outside office hours for example

    Monday & Tuesday - Employee 1
    Wednesday & Thursday - Employee 2
    Friday, Saturday Sunday - Employee 3

    Any help would be appreciated thanks

    Unfortunately, as far as any sort of automatic action goes... you have Office/Out of office hours rules system wide, or call forward rules that apply to each extension. Changing a calls destination, depending on the day of the week, without intervention, is not something normally done. This is not to say that it can't be done, it may, however, involve some sort of an add-on "package" from a third party. Hopefully someone on the forum has some experience with this.

    I can think of one, not so "pretty" solution, one to ponder, but probably not to go any further with...

    It involves 3 SPA-3102 gateways. Each controlled by a 7 day AC timer. The internal dial-plans on each can be set-up to modify any incoming number (from 3CX) and then send out (on the PSTN) to the "correct" outside number depending on which 3102 was active.
