Solved Forwarding Rules

    Hi 3CX community

    I am experiencing an issue with forwarding rules on one extension. The rules have been setup as follows:
    > If the call is not answered within 15 sec then send call to extension 31.
    > If my phone is busy or unregistered then send call to extension 20.

    When any calls come to the extension in question (35) the phone is busy rule takes effect. We have double checked that the phone is registered and that the phone is not busy. There is no DND setup on the phone.

    We have also reconfigured both the phone and the extension in the past.

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated

    Hello @DJ Hattingh

    What phone is this?
    Is it a local or a remote extension?
    Go to the extensions Tab highlight your extension (35) and click on Status button. Is it available?
    Also change the destination for unregistered or busy. does the call change destination to the new destination?
    Also on the phone type *60 and see if that works for you.

    This is a Snom 300 phone
    Is it a local or a remote extension?
    Local extension
    Go to the extensions Tab highlight your extension (35) and click on Status button. Is it available?
    The phone is showing as Available

    Will have to get back to you on the other two points.

    Dont worry. We restarted the phone and all the forwarding rules now seem to be working.
