I recently ran an update on a my PBX v15 and after the first couple of updates the IP address registered to the 3cx FQDN has changed. This PBX had previously been moved between sites and after upgrading it to v15 we registered the 3cx domain we had on it to the new IP address, after these updates though it has reverted back to its original IP address.

I have tried logging into the partner portal but it only lets you release the FQDN and not change the IP address, how can I get the IP address corrected back to the correct one?

No this just explains changing the external IP in 3CX, the external IP in 3CX is correct. Its the .3cx.co.uk domain we have registered that has gone back to a previous IP address.

    Hi benratty,

Do you use Static or dynamic ip in the configuration of the PBX?

Its a fixed IP address, however after going into the management console and keying the IP address back in again it later then picked up the correct IP address when resolving the URL so it is working again now. I had to just key the external IP address in again even though it was same one and already there.

    Working again now though. Thanks
