If you search here for "call transfer failed", there is 126 matches:

So it was not just me having that weird - seemingly random error when I called in my main Digital Receptionist..

I found out that it was a corrupt extension in one of my ring groups.

Next time you get it, put the ring group to Hunt keep putting different Extensions on the top of the ring group and keep calling it until you get the call transfer failed error, then delete that extension and remake it. 8) (or change the ext # like I had to find out below)
You can also find the bad one by dilling the extension directly.

Umm, unless the extension is the operator...
Then you can not delete.. (It just happened to me again)

Also, if you just change the extension number, and delete then recreate the forwarding rules, that works oo.
