    Good day,

The 3CX would have to support a prefix of 0 as usual for PBXs.
This is however unfortunately only outgoing ... with incoming calls the 0 is not registered in the call list.
Also the 3CX client can not process this and under the HotKey function one would have to register it so that is chosen.

This whole becomes problematic, if the local area still has a 3-digit number range and also the extensions in the 3CX 3-digit numbers have!

Thus, a call to a location number, eg 256, and a set-up subscriber number 256, is no longer possible !!

This would be urgently needed by 3CX !!!

Wait...there are still places with local numbers consisting of 3 digits!? If that is the issue, then it sounds like an outbound rule problem, requiring the use of an access digit (9?) prefixing outgoing calls.

Just like there are some democratic people's republics with only 1 analog TV channel?

Problem in this topic is that incoming call will appear as 3 digit extension in softphone call history? It is not possible to callback that number without 0?

Call history should have different highlight color for external and internal calls? For external call it should silently prefix 0 on callback(or display full number with 0 in tooltip)?
Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    IMHO that's really a problem!
Yes, in Germany there are still 3 and 4 digit local numbers. So the prefix handling in 3CX should be better. And I know customers who have 6 and 7 digit internal numbers. So the length of the number can't be a criterium for a outgoing dial rule.
Ok, you can reformat incoming caller ID in your SIP trunk, so that the prefix is set and you can easily do a callback. But if e. g. you want to use contacts with your 3CX Android client, the prefix is missing. So dialing all these contacts is not possible.
Or is there a possibility/workaround for this problem?
