Good Morning all

I am having a problem with my 3CX PBX and the routers installation. Let me explain you what I get.

I have a company with two routers, one Router1 that controls the Internet access, and another intertal R2 that is dedicated to an accounting department. It is behind the Router2 where I have my PBX, and all the pc's of the users using the VOIP.

Router1 has all ports (UDP and TCP) opened and redirected to Router 2 for incoming packages. And Router2 is configured as it is explained in FAQ: http://www.3cx.com/support/firewal-checker.html (Example for Linksys).

The problems I am having are:

a) Even normally the phone system works fine, and my users can make calls fine also when I execute the Firewall Checker I get this Warning:

Code:
# Port Status Description Parameters
1 9000 Warning (10) Port is open, but port number has been changed during NAT translation. THIS ERROR means you have Symmetric NAT and you do not have STATIC PORT MAPPINGS in place. 3CX Phone System will not communicated correctly with your VOIP provider or external extensions. See this FAQ: http://www.3cx.com/support/firewal-checker.html externalAddress = 213.60.109.15:43368

If I have the Router2 configured as in the FAQ, I should not get this error right??

b) The other problem I have is that sometimes, like today, the system is not able to get registered with the VOIP provider, and no calls can be made or received. This is a serious problem for us.

This is the Status of the Server when the STUN server is trying to resolve the external IP

Any idea of what can be wrong? Router2 is the one that should be configured as in the FAQ right , as it is the one "controlling" the PBX.

Thanks a lot guys.

Stupid Solutio... The internet provider has closed all the ports in the Node for all the customers in the neiberhood.... guess sometimes we need to deal with situations like this one

Cheers
