When someone calls in my digital receptionist answers, but if you try and enter someones extension before the end of my DR you just get a invalid enter. I was wondering if there is a way, or a setting somewhere that will allow someone to call in and as soon as the DR picksup enter someones ext and be transfered to that ext imediately.
Thank you in advance for any helpful suggestions.

    Hi

I have tried this using the 5.1 version and as soon as the DR picks up (within 1 second) I am able to perform the action required, without the need to wait. What version are you running?

    I am using version 5.0.3790.0
When I check for updates it says I am up to date on it.
If it doesn't come back with invalid entry. It just treats it like you didn't type in any extension.
    Thanks

What VoIP gateway are you using? Could be just a firmware issue.

    Guys

We have performed a fix to this which will be available soon and will be solved by performing an update to the 3CX PBX. This will enable you to instruct IVR to End the call after a specific timeout. Basically in the Timeout options at the bottom of each DR, you will notice that the "no action" option will be replaced by an "end call".

This will be released very soon. Probably today.
