    Hi

I am trying to connect a SIP provider to my 3CX system but for the life of me I cant make it work or get a template that works

The sip details required by the service are in the image, and it works perfectly configured as below in a Yealink phone.

Anyone got any ideas or custom template that may work for me please?

    Thanks
    Dan

Are you just using the Generic trunks setting in 3CX?

What error message do you get in the 3CX Server log when registration is attempted?

I'm not sure about the "register name". Normally the parameters are... User Name, Password, Server address/port, and sometimes a Proxy Server/port. Of course these do vary depending on the provider.

Don't know if you came across this, or maybe it's your post.

Does catnextgen.com translate to IP 202.129.61.102 ? If so, then you should be able to try the IP as both the Server and Proxy server address.

You might want to try leaving out the Proxy server altogether and see if it makes a difference. Worse case scenario, you ask your provider what they are seeing as incorrect when you attempt to register.

Are you using a fixed IP at your end? Did you run the 3CX Firewall test?

The same issue, with the same provider?
