help me (caller id)

    Hi
    i am a student of communication.I want to know how it is possible in Switching Center to send caller id from (subs. A) to (subs.C) when the siez is from (sub.s A) to (subs.B) and it has been transfer(divert) to (subs.C).

    Are you talking about in a telephone company central office, then, yes it will pass on the callers ID in most cases, or, do you mean a forwarded call in 3CX? That will depend on a number of factors in your set-up.

    yes i am talking about a telephone company central office.what do you mean by most cases?how it is possible?what changes should be placed?

    If a home or business telephone connected to a central office has call forwarding activated, then, if a callers number and or name is available, it will be passed on along with the forwarded call. I'm sure that there are some places in the world, depending on the telephone company, that this may not be the case.
