help with inbound calls not working outbound works fine

    hello I am using voipyourlife with 3cx ip pbx 7
    my outbound works fine I can dial extention to extention okay how ever when I dial inbound eg from outside like my cell phone or anty other number to my pbx it won't go threw it rings once, then gives me a busy signal. I have my did set to my phone number and a * at the end. I also have it set to go to 100 during office hours and during non office hours. any ideas what I got mis configured? thanks Hank

    Troubleshooting an unsupported VoIP provider is a lot of work and requires SIP knowledge. Most of the times the provider in question is not SIP compliant. This troubleshooting is beyond the scope of these free user to user forums.

    Its easier to use a support VoIP provider (which are listed in the interface), or else to at least use a community supported one. You can find a list here:

    These are being used by 3CX users.
