I wonder if anyone can give me a feel for a situation we've not been in yet. I want to be sure we don't under-spec the host platform for a 3cx system which will have

    - 300 or so desks
    - 100 or so concurrent calls
    - RECORDING of all calls ACTIVE

It's the third item which has me worried - turning this on means all calls will be proxied via the 3CX server not going direct from phone to phone/gateway, and writing 100 separate calls to disk at the same time... anyone done this sort of thing for a user? Did you need a souped up machine to cope?

Try it, it should work, as recording happens with direct access to local hard disks, i.e. the disk controller should handle I/O operation/
