Hotel - password reset after checkout

    Hi All,

    Imaginge a hotel with more than 500 rooms. They not have deskphones in the rooms but only offer 3CX softphones. When a guest signs out, the receptionist clears the room extension among other things. But clearing or assigning an extension does not change the extension password.

    When the signed out guest does not remove the extension account from the smartphone (or the 3CX client entirely), the phone stays logged on. Therefore the receptionist needs to reset the password manually. That means an extra window to keep open or to log on to and it means a minute or so extra work. In a hotel, time is money and the receptionists are busy enough already....

    Can anybody think of a better way of doing this?
