I need a way to remove the beep that proceeds each page. We are broadcasting over a speaker system and the tone is way too shrill and bothersome for our enivronment. We want our system to simply broadcast the page and nothing more. I looked for some type of control for this but, could not find one. I see that there are two files call 'beep.wav' and 'beep.mp3' which appear to be the tone used. I tried replacing those with a version that was a quieter tone, but it made no difference. Are those the files used for that and if they are, does the server cache them?

Any solution to taking that tone out is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jon

Ok, so I figured this out on my own. I copied the prompt set and then modified the 'beep.wav' file. I then restarted the Media Server service (not too sure that is really necessary) and then re-created my paging group. Doing that removed the standard tone generated from the 3cx paging.
