Grandstream supports using TLS but the post here: http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/secure-sip/ doesn't explain how to set it up. Can someone explain to me how this is done?

    Hello my friend!

Follow the documentation abou GXP Series.

    http://www.grandstream.com/products/gxp_series/general/documents/gxp21xx_usermanual_english.pdf

See the page 35, you must specify a directory to the SSL certificate, to use TLS.

    - SSL Certificate - The user specified SSL certificate used for SIP over TLS.
    - SSL Private Key - The user specified SSL private key used for SIP over TLS.
    - SSL Private Key Password - User specified password to protect the private key above.

    Tks!

Thanks for the reply, but I have no idea what that means. What does "directory to the SSL certificate" mean? Where do I specify the directory? How do I generate SSL certs for GS?

    Thank you.

    Ok

See this documentation article in microsoft to do this and folow the steps:

    1 - Create a certificate ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/228991 )
2 - Share a directory with the certificate in the server
3 - Configure the shared folder in GS.

Soon as possible i make this tests here, in my lab.

    Regards!

    Hello!

The shared folder was configured in the Windows server, with the ssl certificate.

    Which model are you using?

I'll try to simulate in the laboratory and move a step by step for you when possible.

    Best Regards!

    GXP-2100.

I was asking based on your step 3 where you say "Configure the shared folder in GS". What does that mean and how do I do that?
