Assume that you set up a SIP phone (Polycom, Grandstream, etc.) at a remote location and have it connect to 3CX over the internet without a VPN.

How secure is the connection between the phone and 3CX?

Can the data be intercepted, compromised, etc. ?

    Thanks again

    Interesting looking article:

I'd read it if it wasn't 5pm on a Friday!

    Thanks James

That was an interesting article

So from the looks of it I had better keep using VPN endpoints.

Unless of course, I'm missing somthing here???

    Anyone?

I always believed that all communication online thats not on SSL or VPN can be intercepted some way.
Why should it not apply to voip to?
