How to configure Net2Phone with 3CX

By mistake I bought $200 credit from Net2Phone. I wans't know the service standards of Net2Phone but now I realize that Net2Phone worlds most worst VOIP provider I ever tried. We I want to use that credit and I am trying to use that credit with my 3CX. I have following settings in my 3CX but I am unable to make call. Please guide me how to sort out this problem.

SIP Server Hostname or IP - sip.net2phone.com
SIP Server Port - 5060
Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP - sip.net2phone.com
Outbound Proxy Port *default is 5060) - 5060

External Number - 9784322512
Authentication ID - 9784322512
Authentication Password - ACCOUNT PASSWORD

OUTBOUND RULES
Calls to numbers starting with (Prefix) - Blank

Configure up to 3 routers for calls. The second and third route will be used as backup
Route 1 Net2Phone Strip Digit (1) Prepend Blank
 
Please post the 3CX log of a registration attempt (is 3CX able to register?) and if so, a log of an outbound call attempt.
 
Where is the log file? I can use my 3CX extension through iPhone's Fring app but I can't login through 3CX Softphone or X-Lite. Both software giving me request time out.
 
Hi,

1.In the 3CX management console go to settings> Advanced > "verbose mode".
2. Restart the PBX.
3. Go to the Management console and select " server activity log". Please remember that this does not update automatically.

Reproduce your issue and post the logs here
 
I enable verbose mode and restart the system then checked log page. There are 100s of lines but I can't select more than two lines at a time so it is impossible for me to copy paste log file here.

Now I am using 3CX Softphone and enabled 3CX Tunnel options now I am able to connect with my server remotely but other person who is using 3CX can't hear my voice and I'm also unable to hear him to.

I seen to recall that if you select the first line, Shift and select the last line, the lines in between will turn blue. At the top of the log select Copy Selected Text and then open Notepad or another text editor and Paste it in.

Are they located on the same network as the 3CX PC? Making use of the tunnel should prevent any one way problems between you and 3CX itself, however if the other person is on another network then their router (or the router at the 3CX location), may need to have the port forwarding/firewall blocking checked. Do you have issues calling any other numbers, do they?

3CX Located on Network A, I am at Network B and my friend at Network C. We are connecting with the server from different countries and server located in another country.

Sometimes I and my friend connect without any problem and we can talk to each other but sometimes system work in half duplex mode. We don't have any problem with the firewall.

I am using net2phone for outbound calls. Using sip.net2phone.com and my ID and Password and Ports/Trunks Status showing me green light in 3CX but when I try to call 90044791266648 or 004479126664 then 3CX softphone giving me Forbidden and Destination Not Found error.

Re: Fring for iPhone

Fring for iPhone works awesome with 3CX over 3G or Wifi...
My impression was that it worked better than Acrobits and iSip without all the complicated configuration.

I was amazed that it worked right off the bat and it only asks for 3 simple fields:
1. User ID
2. Password
3. Proxy

The rest of the Fring app doesn't work so great (in my opinion), but the SIP calling incoming/outgoing works flawless!

Dear Activeserve

Fring is working fine now but I'm unable to make calls on landline or mobile because Outbound Rules are not working in my 3CX. I am using Net2Phone as a gateway. I tried everything but nothing happen and no one here from 3CX to sort out my problem :)

Your going to need to post the verbose logs again, if your outbound rules are failing that will clearly show it.
 
im working with net2phone using: (in bold the diferences than you)

SIP Server Hostname or IP - sip.net2phone.com
SIP Server Port - 5060

OUTBOUND RULES
Calls to numbers starting with (Prefix) - 011
calls from extensions - 10-20 (i just using 4 extensions, 11, 12, 13, 14 but you need to put a range or each one)
calls to numbers with number of digits - 8-16 (to call international numbers i need 16, to cell phone 12, to land lines 9, but you need to put a range to cover, if not the system uses 0 and you cant call)

Configure up to 3 routers for calls. The second and third route will be used as backup
Route 1 Net2Phone Strip Digit (0) Prepend Blank (use 0 or the system will cut you 1 number, or you can modify your prefix to 80 for example, and set here strip 2 digits to identify your calls)

I am having an issue setting up a sip trunk from net2phone on the 3cx. Currently in the port status window on the 3cx it indicates that the trunk is registered and I am also able to make outgoing calls on the trunk however I am unable to receive any calls. N2p tech support says that the trunk is not registered on their network.
Has any one got sip trunking from n2p to work with 3cx if so can you post config details?
