How to view external Conference callers on switchboard

    When the system is invoked during create conference to call external numbers, it does not show on the switchboard at all.

    I noticed this exact topic was locked under:
    post171844.html?hilit=conference view#p171844

    As v14 fixed this issue yet? Seems like if these external calls made by 3CX and using an analog gateway, we should be able to see these calls listed on the switchboard.

    It is the same in V!4.

    The reason for this is because the Switchboard as it is currently implemented shows calls in which Extensions are involved in, not calls that System Extensions are involved like the Conference Extension.

    The reason you see calls in the Switchboard from other extensions to an external number is because an extension is involved in that call. For the same reason though, if you have an Inbound Rule that immediately sends a call out to a different External Number, this will not show up in the Switchboard either.

    Given this, I would recommend putting in a feature request in the 'Ideas' section stating that you would also want the Switchboard to also monitor the System Extensions and/or the External Calls as well.
