Htek UC924 Ring Tones

    I might be missing something simple here, but I can not seem to change the ring tone for the Htek UC924. I copied and modified the auto provisioning script, and I see the changes I made to the auto provisioning script referenced in the phones web interface, but the ring tone is not changing with actual calls.

    Inbound calls from local extensions DO reflect the selected ringtone.
    Inbound calls from outside lines DO NOT reflect the selected ring tone, and use this one annoying ringtone. It is ominous and off-putting, kind of.

    It would be awesome if someone had an idea why this was happening.

    We figured out that the default ringtone for the account is overridden by the Alert Ring Text 1 in the HTEK Phone UI: Settings, Features, Alert Ring.

    To modify this in the template, we just remarked out that parameter which then let's us select the ringtone in the phone UI per phone:
    <P1399 para="Preference.AlertInternalText">external</P1399>
    <!--<P1402 para="Preference.AlertInternalRinger">2</P1402>-->
