Identifying redirected phones

We have a client who answer phones for someone else. They have the phones numbers (130 xxx xxx) redirected to a number (61 7xxx xxxx) on their 3CX SIP trunk (v15.5).
If we ring the SIP trunk number directly (61 7xxx xxxx) and no-one answers we get the voice mail options we have set up - perfect.
If we ring the number that is diverted (130 xxx xxx) we can see the call come in to 3CX (on 61 7xxx xxxx) but if we dont answer then it does not go to voicemail.
Any ideas?
