I've been tinkering around with the 3cx softphone and was just wondering if my specs below are or are not desirable for operation. If they are, maybe you can point me in the right direction.

I have a watchguard x550e with the appropriate ports forwarded. I've disabled stun on both the softphone and the server. I've tried every codec on the softphone along with messing with the QOS settings for inbound/outbound. It is always a 5-10 second delay no matter what settings I choose. Audio going to the iphone is 100%.

    Start eliminating possible suspects...

If you've only used 3G, then try it over a WiFi connection.

If you have another router (don't we all have an old one in a box somewhere, that we never got around to giving away), try using that as a test

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Wi-fi on lan seems to be 100% in both directions (minor digitizing) -- which can only mean the Dallas ATT network is insufficient for this application. Wonderful......

I made this product work really well with siphon about 2 years ago. Think I may give it a shot just to see how it compares.
