Ladies and Gents,

Almost every customer we provide 3CX asks for a displayed caller ID (name, company, etc.). -

As everyone knows, the Gigaset Handset offers this feature by default. The user can select a Internet based Directory service of his choice.

Kindly asking to add to the wishlist:
Implementing this from customer/user strong demanded feature to the next release
This could be configurable via the 3CX WebClient by the user or centrally via PBX by the admin.

Additional suggestion: Partner with Hiya (https://hiya.com/ca/) like Samsung did for their cell phones. Crowd-based updating and flagging of spammers and robocallers, plus caller id features.

Generally caller id is provided by the carrier, but if spammers and robocallers can override the outbound caller id, that's kind of useless to the recipient. So, something like Hiya might be a good option.
 
+1 and like Dion says use Hiya or something like that. works well on Samsung
