Inbound PSTN Caller hears dial tone

    Hello all and thanks in advance. Complete newbie to this.

    Situation:
    I'm using the 3CX small business edition with an AudioCodes MP-114 gateway. When I call the PSTN line it will ring once and then go to dial tone until the phone is answered. Call goes through fine, but the dial tone is annoying not to mention unprofessional. I'll post more info if requested, but thought I'd give you the 20,000 foot view first and see if it was a simple config change.

    Found a topic that covered it.

    If anyone has a similar issue, the fix was to go into:

    AudioCodes Gateway

    Protocol Management-->Protocol Definition-->DTMF & Dialing

    Change Dial Tone duration and Hotline dial tone duration to 0
