I have Skype incoming and outgoing working. I think the confusing thing for new users is that when you create your first two extensions (using the three digit style) and you have them working that two things become very unitutive...
1. When you add the Skype extension it is a virtual one named 10000... and thus I configured my soft phone to use that, it registered so I thought everything was ready to go for incoming... this is incorrect and the first extension I created was the correct one.
2. The confusing thing for outgoing is that you MUST setup an outbound rule correctly and this was not shown in the instructions. So are several ways to configure this which the easiest to start with is Call From extension(s), Route 1 choose the drop down menu for the Skype Gateway, strip 2 digits, and then have the softphone users always dial 00 in front of their numbers.
I think this is turning away allot of potential users.
