Incoming caller ID

    Hi,

    All of our incoming calls are displaying as anonymous. How do I get it to pass the incoming caller ID through to the phone.

    Can you share more details on your setup.
    Have you followed the configuration guidelines in 3CX PhoneSystem manual ?

    Check the timing on your gateway, it is probably sending the call on to 3CX before the caller ID has been sent. You are paying for the feature from the phone company, correct?

    Hi,

    The phone system is using a Patton gateway which has 4 ISDN channels going in to it. I set this up using the 3cx system to generate the config file. The caller ID was functioning on the old system that has just been taken out so it is being provided by the phone company. I have followed the guide and have now gone back over it again to check setting.

    Please let me know what other info would help resolve this.

    Hi Buster,

    most probably the problem is the configuration of the Patton (you can look on 3CX activity log or capture the traffic). Usually there is a mismatch in caller-ID type, nevertheless these are ISDN lines, or similar problem.

    I would suggest focusing on configuration of Caller-ID into the Patton.
