Install file location - Welcome Email

    Good afternoon,

    I am having an issue with loading the configuration file in the welcome email. It is looking for the install msi in a location that does not exist. If I point it manually to the file, the configuration works just fine. I have searched the config in Notepad and do not see a location for this file.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello there,

    I am assuming from the description that you have a client for windows correct?

    If that is the case when you download the config file from your email the file should have an extension ".3cxconfig"

    If you right click on that file select "Open with..." option and select 3CX Phone for windows.

    It shouldn't matter where the configuration file is on your local PC, just download it from your email and open it with the 3CX app.
