Hi,

I´m trying to perform a manual installation on a Debia 9 in a hosting service using Virtuozzo.

Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.2 (stretch)
Release: 9.2
Codename: stretch

First Problem, when I´m doing initial configuration through web config, the wizard stops in the "Choose Local Interface Screen", the interface list is empty and I can´t continue because it´s a required field.

Second try: Wiped out the entire machine (started a new instance) and got through Text interface for configure. O Text interface I was able to pass the "local interface" configuration (again, no interface list, but accepted only entering my IP) and finish the process. But main services fails to start.

I tried google it, in the forum, checking the logs but I´m blind here. Please, if someone could get me some thoughts...

Code:
Starting other services...

Job for 3CXPhoneSystem01.service failed because a fatal signal was delivered causing the control process to dump core.
See "systemctl status 3CXPhoneSystem01.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.

A dependency job for 3CXIVR01.service failed. See 'journalctl -xe' for details.

Hi Leandro,

First off you should not use Virtuozzo. Secondly you should use the 3CX ISO... I suggest using PBX express and using your gmail account and free gcloud credit first, or another provider such as OVH.

Hi Nick,

Obviously, as a beginner on this system, I'll respect and learn from your answer. But, I sincerely would want to know why?

I just followed the Installation Guide for manual install, since in my hosting services I can´t upload the ISO. The prerequisites was Debian 9 and SSH access, the two were met. And there was no specification about virtualization Provider or Platform.

If we can´t do manual installation, just like that, no troubleshooting, perhaps, this option should be removed from the Admin Guide. I would totally understand and respect as a company strategy to simplify scenarios and help support staff to get less problems.

Regards,
Leandro R. De Bom.

on a small tech term, the issue is how Virtuoso renders network adapters into guest system. As the general idea of this hyper visor is of an abstract layering of instances the instance it self does not have a NIC we can see or bind to...
