    Hi Guys

I am having an issue with a new client that is currently still running v14, they have an intermittent outbound call issue whereby the 3cx client comes up with call forbidden. In the logs on the server there is an event ID 12294 403 Auth Failed (service provider IP).

Service provider says they can see no reason for this on their side.

I would run a packet capture and get the exact failure.
Do you have multiple trunks or just one? Cloud of Premise install?

Since the caller is seeing forbidden, then I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that call never makes it to the provider. If that is the case, then it is blocked by 3CX for some reason. If you can duplicate the issue, then check the 3CX Activity Log right after this happens to see how the outbound rules are handling the call, and why it is blocked.
