Internal Call Handling

    Hi,


    If someone tried this and make it work correctly correct me on my configuration. And does the Ring timeout also applies on internal call?


    The goal is for extension to forward all external call to VM and internal call will ring the extension.

    Forwarding rules.

    Available tab

    - Busy and No Answer will forward call to VM
    -Ring timeout is 1sec
    -Enable "Different behavior for internal call
    -Send call to that extension number

    Hi,

    This scenario will create a call routing loop and it will not work. Your task can be done via inbound rules. Just route external calls to VM of an extension. Another way to acomplish this is to use forwarding exception rules. For example, if all your external calls comes with a leading 0 on caller ID you can create a rule like all calls received with caller ID 0* send them to Voice Mail.

    Hi Dan,


    OK if i will do the exception rule any Status will be affected by this? Do i still need to check the different behavior on internal call? or even i don't enable this all internal call should ring the extension?
