Experienced with most actual 3CX Version 15.
If calls are blind transferred, there is shown on the final destination extension the number of the blind transferrer instead of the initial (real) caller. This is quite useless as the person receiving the blind transferred call doesn't see who is really calling, even worse he sees in this simple and daily usual situation the wrong caller.

This seems to be quite critical bug. This is easily reproducible for internal and external callers.

Some background info after investigating more the given users experience. There is a difference in the behaviour if the call is busy transferred on the 3CX client and on a Siemens Gigaset DECT Handset connected to a Gigaset N510-IP Pro.

If the blind transfer is executed on the 3CX client to the Siemens Gigaset device, the display seems to behave right and the called Dect device shows the right caller.

If the call is blind transferred on the Gigaset (R key, number, R key) then there is shown the wrong caller on the destination extension (doesn't matter what kind the destination is, 3CX or Gigaset).

Unfortunately, I can't help with those phones. However I can tell you it's not a 3cx issue but a phone or user issue. Either they're not properly doing a blind transfer, or there's a setting in the phone that should change that behavior. There's nothing to do in 3cx other than maybe changing the template (once you find the setting) to provision them (if you provision them).

Yes, you are right, it isn't directly a 3CX issues. However, the Gigaset N510 is described as supported by 3CX (https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/gigaset-n510/) as well as on Gigaset side to support 3CX (https://teamwork.gigaset.com/gigawiki/display/GPPPO/3CX ). If you have any advice how or why this could happen or how this could be debuged this would be helpful. This limitation isn't listed on each of the support pages. Anyhow, thanks for answering.

Do you have any other advice which DECT phone system would be fully interoperable with 3CX without such limitations?

Hello there,

What i believe you are doing is that you are using attended transfer when you are performing the transfer from the Gigaset device. Since the procedure you are describing is for attended transfer. The 3CX client has the ability to do a blind transfer thus you get the original caller on screen. I believe that the gigaset n510 doesn't have the ability to perform a blind transfer.
