Invalid Password Problem

hello

i hv developed a sip client application

now i m using 3cxphonesystem for windows

when i m registering my client application.
it gives me a response 403(Invalid Password Provided)

can anybody help me regarding this?

You have configured the wrong password in 3CX.

Mate,

Honestly how can we help you with a post like that?

You developed a SIP application (So I assume nobody knows or seen it before).


Your client application gives an 403, well you have devloped it so what is it you want me to do about that?

Bit more info would be good.

Lets start with the 3cx log......

Hi

as u said that i hv checked all the settings like user id,password all are right

now i m not able to understand this problem.

i m using 3cxphonesystems as SIP PBX

and i m using MD5 algorithm

my algorithm is right

bcoz i hv cross checked it with another application

which converts any string into md5 key.

server respond me by saying that password invalid


if u want more information then plz tell me which type of information u want from me?

i will give u all the information .

Hi Ankit !

Your SIP client has to support procedure of authorization; see the RFC2617 and RFC3261 (section 20.7).

Use '3CXPhoneSystem' as the Realm; User and Password are defined for each extension within 3CX Admin Console (Extensions/Manage/Authentication) as 'Authentication ID' and 'Authentication password' correspondently.

Do you really have four digits long extension numbers?
 
Btw, if you provide us with trace log made on high verbosity level it may help us to solve your problem.
