Is there a way to limit conference users?

    Is there a way to limit the number of callers allowed to connect to the conference bridge? We have a 16SC license. Despite my repeated warnings, I have users who invite 20-25 people to call in for conference calls. Of course when the 17th person tries to dial in, they get an error message saying the license is maxed out. Even worse, it prevents anyone else from making inbound or outbound calls.

    How do I limit conference calls to say 8 users so I have room left for other traffic?

    Dear Craig,

    What conference bridge do you use, public or local? If you use public conference number, you can limit the number of sim calls under trunk settings, keep in mind this setting is applied for the whole trunk so you need a new dedicated DID number.
    If you want local conference limit, you can post this as a feature request in our ideas section of this forum
