I made a outbound rule which allows me to make outbound calls but its sporadic.

This is how I have it setup right now.

Calls to numbers starting with (Prefix): 1
    Calls from extensions: 10-12,14-22,35
Calls to numbers with a length of: 7-18

    Route 1 Teliax Strip Digits : 1

I can place calls to 1-(805) numbers but none to cell phones.

    Second question.

I tried to create another rule like this...

Calls to numbers starting with (Prefix): 1805
    Calls from extensions: 10-12,14-22,35
Calls to numbers with a length of: 7-18

    Route 1 Teliax Strip Digits : 4

Thinking it would strip the 1 and the area code so I would only have to dial the 7 digit number. Could this work?

If you are using a single provider and always send 1+, then a simple dial plan will work for you.

You may want to rethink that and do a 9+1+, this leaves you open for more flexibility. dial 91XXX1231234 , 12 digits long, strip one digit (the 9). This leaves you open to create a plan for overseas numbers and restrict or allow certain extensions.

Does your provider want all 11 digits 1805xxxxxxx?

Again, most VoIP providers want all the digits, area codes included. Call them, they can confirm this.

I changed the first outbound rule to 9,1 and to strip 1 digit. It works with everything now.
