License Activation Failed

    Hi,

    I just downloaded v15 yesterday and did a new install on Windows Server 2012 R2. Installation was successful and I used 3CX's FQDN and opened the required ports in the firewall. I can access the web gui from internet. First time I logged in I'm presented with the initial setup. All was well until the last page when I need to submit the registration. All fields were filled and I put in the free license key I was emailed. However I got the following error:

    License Activation Failed
    license_error.HttpsError

    I couldn't find anyone else having this issue. Any ideas?

    hello there,
    Please try the following and let us know of it worked

    Change your DNS server to 8.8.8.8
    Open a CMD and and perform an ipconfig /flushdns
    Restart the services including the Nginx service from services.msc

    Try launching the config wizard again

    i have this error
    license_error.FailedToFindSuitableNetworkAdapter
    any ideas????

    @sarmad 3cx

    Are you getting the same error? Can you resolve activation.3cx.com correctly? If yes try following the above steps again in case you missed something. Also make sure that windows firewall is off and no antivirus software is present on the 3CX server.
    Additionally make sure that no deep packet inspection is enabled on the firewall during the activation process.

    What does the PBX use to connect to the internet? Also is this a virtual or a physical machine? If a virtual what is the virtualisation that you are using?
