License Limit is reached when automatic DND kicks in/out

    Hi,

    I get multiple warning e-mails for licence limit is reached when our extensions go in/out of DND at the start and end of each business day.

    Should 'Dial Code' calls be included in the simultaneous call count? I don't think they should.

    Hello @richardwvm

    What version PBX are you using and what type of phones? When the switch is done automatically using office hours this is done by a SIP info message from the PBX to the phones. If you are using dial codes however manually from the phones then these do count as simultaneous calls as the phones are calling the PBX.

    Yes I noticed the behaviour changed with the advent of 3CX 15, as the phone now seems to know it's in DND out of hours (on the display), whereas it never used to.

    I have not configured anything to use dial codes, I've only configured the "Automatically switch status to available during office hours" option.

    Is it possible the SIP info message causes the phone to dial the DND dial code?

    I tried replicating your scenario but had no success. With that in mind i will send you a p.m. and request some files so we can check why you are facing this issue.
