license_error.HttpsError

    I am trying to configure a new phone system installed on a Windows server 2012 r2 with essentials role. When i get to the end of the registration details i get an error message saying license_error.HttpsError
    I have downloaded the latest install files too.
    Has anyone run into this at all?

    I am getting the same error with an upgrade from v14 to v15 when I get to the registration tab I am getting error license_error.HttpsError. Any help would be appreciated.

    This error usually means that the system can not reach erp.3cx.com. Please make sure you can perform an nslookup to erp.3cx.com and it will resolve correctly. Also try disabling windows firewall and try again.

    You could also run wireshark as you are completing the configuration wizard and check if you see any traffic towards erp.3cx.com

    What was the final fix? We're having the same problem upgrading to v15 SP4

    Please try the following and let us know if it works for you.
    1. Change the default DNS server on the network adapter of the PBX to 8.8.8.8
    2. Open a CMD and perform ipconfig /flushdns
    3. Restart services of the PBX (Nginx service as well)
    4. Restart the configuration wizard and try again
