Limit calls by group ?

    Hi all,

    is there any way we can limit the number of simultaneous calls by either a group of extensions or indeed an inbound DID/DDI ?

    You probably need to clarify what you are trying to accomplish.

    Lets say I have a 3CX system licensed for 16 simultaneous calls and I "sub-lease" the system and services to 4 customers giving them their own simultanous call limits so as not to affect the other customers eg

    Customer 1 : 2 simultaneous calls
    Customer 2 : 4 simultaneous calls
    Customer 3 : 4 simultaneous calls
    Customer 4 : 6 simultaneous calls

    How do I ensure customer 1 doesn't make more than two simultaneous calls (even if they may have 3 or 4 physical extensions on the system) ?

    Hi,

    I would have to take a look at your setup and identify how it can we worked around, please generate your support logs by using the backup and restore tool and send it over to mf@3cx.com I will try and identify a workaround solution if this is possible according to your setup. Limit call groups has been done before but can be complex.
