    Hi,

    I am trying to configure a Linksys SPA-3102 with 3CX. I am getting the following logged in 3CX when I try and make a call to an outside UK number:

    10:15:51.072 CallConf::Rejected [CM103005] Call(2) is rejected: Service Unavailable
    10:15:51.072 StratInOut::eek:nCancel [CM104008] Call(2): Call from Ext.100 to 0800800150 terminated; cause: 503 Service Unavailable; from IP:192.168.4.13
    10:15:50.982 CallConf::eek:nIncoming [CM103002] Call(2): Incoming call from 100 (Ext.100) to sip:00800800150@192.168.4.10

    So, what does 503 Service Unavailable mean ?

    192.168.4.10 = 3Cx Server
    192.168.4.13 = Linksys SPA 3102 Box

    Thanks!

    Andrew

    Not sure what 503 means, but i made a search in forum for SPA-3102 and found several post about config.

    One of them is
    http://www.3cx.com/forums/categories-1/3cx-phone-system-general-1/spa-3102-outgoing-2061/?highlight=SPA-3102.

    I reccomend to make a search yourself since the most already has been written...

    I resolved the 503 Error by changing the cable between the Linksys and the phone line port, for some reason the one that came with the Linksys didnt work!

    I now get the following being logged:

    19:23:35.128 StratLink::eek:nHangUp [CM104001] Call(28): Ext.100 hung up call; cause: BYE; from IP:192.168.4.20
    19:23:32.344 CallLegImpl::eek:nConnected [CM103001] Call(28): Created audio channel for Ln:10000@Spare_Line (192.168.4.13:16448) with third party (192.168.4.20:2226)
    19:23:32.344 StratInOut::eek:nConnected [CM104005] Call(28): Setup completed for call from Ext.100 to Ln:10000@Spare_Line
    19:23:32.344 CallLegImpl::eek:nConnected [CM103001] Call(28): Created audio channel for Ext.100 (192.168.4.20:2226) with third party (192.168.4.13:16448)
    19:23:32.324 CallConf::eek:nProvisional [CM103003] Call(28): Ln:10000@Spare_Line is ringing
    19:23:32.224 CallConf::eek:nIncoming [CM103002] Call(28): Incoming call from 100 (Ext.100) to sip:00800850850@192.168.4.10

    So a lot more than I did before, but I dont actually get the phone that I am calling to ring, I just get three short beeps, and then the usual fast busy signal.

    I am searching / trying things when I find them.

    Some more questions.

    Did you use the template for the spa-3102 when setting ut the gateway in 3cx?
    Is internal calls ext to ext ok?
    Are incomming calls to 3cx ok?

    Hi,

    Yes I used the template to configure the Linksys. The line is registered in 3cx.

    Extension to Extension calls are fine, always have been.

    I do not get incoming calls either, when I call the number i hear the ringing tone, but the IP phone does not ring and nothing about the call is logged in 3CX. However, when I try and make an outgoing call on the same line at the same time, 3CX logs it as unavailable.

    Checked my extension setup, the only place I can find "Bind to Media Server" is on the local IP extensions, and it is NOT checked for those.

    Thanks for the info so far!
