    Just wondering if there is a way to login via a remote station or number.

    We have a situation where a company needs to have a call center system.
    They are not interested in replacing their PBX.
    The proposed way is to give us a tieline from their PBX to a Patton gateway, and from there the calls will be forwarded to the 3CX system.
    so here is the fall flow
    public --> PBX --> Tieline --> Patton --> 3CX.

    The agents already have phones from their PBX.
    we are trying to find a way to hook their exciting phones to the 3CX system instead of having two phones on their desks.

    we sell different call center software that has this ability, instead of logging in to a voip phone, you can specify a phone number (say your cell phone), so if you receive a call and hit pickup on the softclient, the phone system will ring your cell phone and you still can manage the call via the softclient, so it is not forwarding, it is just making the phone system aware that your station is your cell phone not a VoIP phone.

    Thank you.
