Loosing Profile configuration each update

    Hi All !

    Thank you in advance for your support :)

    Here we are some people using 3CX V12 for Iphone... and each time that we get a update from the AppleStore, we are loosing the profile on the application.

    Each time we need to configure back all the setting. This is annoying !
    Is that an already report bug ?
    The issue is on all Iphone device, Iphone 6 Plus, Iphone 4 and Iphone 5 , by example

    On the same time, a lot of user is asking me why the contact from the 3CX server is not appearing in the 3CX application on their Iphone ? , same issue with Android.

    For this, please open and forward ports 5000/5001 (TCP) in your router.

    We also have this very same issue. We are on 3CXPhone 14 and about once a week our iphones lose their config and have to be resetup up. This has also happened across various iphone 5's and 6's. Is there going to be a fix for this?

    Maybe, just maybe, the “Re-Provision on Start-up” switch is enabled?
    Please check this on your iPhone account.
    Open the app and go to: Setup > Settings > Accounts > on the Account page – scroll down > Advanced

    That was checked. I'll make that change on the phones and see if it makes a difference. Thanks so much for the quick response.

    I just wanted to follow up that I still have lost the configuration twice since making sure that re-provision on startup was turned off. If you have any other ideas I would certainly love to try them as re-opening the welcome email/attachment gets old.

    Mmmm… are you running the latest software v14.0.4.75?
    Please remove the app and install it again.
    Recreate a welcome email and provision the phone with it (again).

    The 3cx version is 14.0.47020.408. The iphone app is version 14.0.4.75. I just uninstalled the app and re-installed it, sent a new welcome email, opened the attachment, and unchecked re-configure on startup after it had registered/connected. I'll post back after some time when I know the results.

    I still have the issue... seem that everybody using Iphone or Android with 3CX app 12 or 14 having this issue.

    I hope you speak for yourself?
    I don’t have this issue. On a iPhone. Neither with v12 nor v14.

    I wanted to report back my findings. I was going hoping to be able to say all is well but unfortunately I cannot. It has been working solid since my last post on 1/1 (10 days) until today when it lost its configuration again. I still don't seem to have a long term fix to this issue.

    I am not sure if this is relevant, but do you have any Cleaning apps on the phones that are loosing the accounts? Generally the Account data is stored as temp data I think, so cleaning apps could be responsible for this...

    I'm using an iPhone w/ ios 9.x and no cleaning apps to my knowledge.

    Although this may be a long shot, but how much free memory does the phone that looses the account have? IS it near full?

    Now that you say that, that could very well have been the issue. I was extremely low on phone space and I recently recovered about 1.5 Gb's of space. I can't say for sure if I did that before or after the last time I had to reset it up. But it certainly makes sense and I haven't had the issue in at least the past 5 days.

    OK, then looking good so far. Post back if the account gets lost again and let us know how much memory the phone had at the time.

    What do you mean by " cleaning apps " ?

    The configuration get reset when the apps store is updating the 3cx app itself .
