Solved Lunch Hour setting

    how to set digital receptionist at lunch hour?
    example 1pm to 2pm, all call in direct goto digital receptionist tell call back after 2pm.

    Dear teckyuen,

    Digital receptionist is a feature that answer the call automatically and serving to callers a menu of options to route the call, so in your case you wanted the call of the specific hours (lunch hours) transferred to a specific prompt and tells to callers 'Please call back after 2pm'.

    You have another option, you can create a dummy extension then route all calls from the sip trunk to that extension and on the forwarding rules you have the option to apply your rules at the exceptions box. (Calls/ReceivedTime/ForwardTo).

    May i know how can route all call from the sip trunk and PSTN gateway to the dummy extension?

    In the trunk settings, you simply replace the current routing to the Digital Receptionist with a route to a new (dummy) extension you've created. Within that extensions settings you will create various forwarding rules based on time of day, with the calls routed to the DR during hours of operation and to a recording (might be a different DR, or the voice-mailbox of the extension), saying that the office in closed.
