Solved Management Console - Login Problem

    I have an issue logging into the management console.
    I don't believe I have changed user name or password as (I use a password vault)
    I am getting the message
    Login access denied. Too many incorrect login attempts. Try later or contact the Administrator.

    Any thoughts ?

    OK - so if i've blacklisted myself - is there any way to get back in ?

    Blacklisting is usually by IP address, and for 30 minutes... unless manually entered. If you are still locked out, can you log in from another computer (different IP address)?

    I have tried waiting for an hour as well as logging in from another computer (ipad) but I'm still locked out.
    I have checked my username and password and they are correct (the ones issued by 3CX), but, no joy.

    Is the PBX local or remote? If remote you will need to try from a different public IP address. Also please note that in SP2 the blacklist time interval has been increased to 86400 seconds (24 hours).

    Thank you - it is remote and I have only been waiting about 8 hours.
    I will try again from a different public IP

    You can try from your phone with 3G/4G if you have a mobile plan. Let us know of the results

    I logged on through my cell phone and enabled the blacklisted IP address

    Glad to see the issue has been resolved. You can whitelist your public ip to prevent this from happening again
