maximum number of calls to one phone

    What is the maximum number of calls one phone can be receiving at one time. The customer is stating that sometimes calls go straight to VM. The customer has 6 trunks and the "I want to accept more than one call at the same time" status is checked for the receptionist. The receptionist is the only user in the main ring group. And the ring group is set to forward to the digital receptionist if there is no answer.

    Keep in mind that "I want to accept more than one call at the same time" doesn't apply to a ring group. There's another setting for that (that 3cx prefers you don't change). Since the reception phone is the only member, I'd suggest pointing the incoming calls direct to the extension instead of a ring group.

    How do you have the line keys, on the receptionist set set-up? Are they all the same extension number, or is each key a unique extension, but all in the one ring group?
