Modify incomming CallerID / CRM-Integration

    Hi

    We want to modify the incomming callerID-Name for all incomming calls.
    With our old asterisk we use a Simple AGI-Script which is calling a webservice.

    The idea behind is, to display customer-number and name to our Staff, instead of only the phone-number.

    How would you implement this feature? I didn't found any global setting to start.

    I don't want a complete solution here, but maybe you have a tip, where to start. :)

    Can you please clarify the following?
    Are you using the 3cx client or ip phones?
    How will you get the extra info of the caller? Do you already have a CRM that you want to use?

    Currenty we use Askozia with a softclient (Bria).
    Now we want (have to) switch to 3CX with 3CX-Softphone. :)

    Currently we have a webservice (simple HTTP GET request), which will convert the number to i.e. "[1234] Andreas Jud, City" and asterisk will set this as CallerID (Name).

    We have a custom CRM-Solution based on MS SQL. When possible, we want to use our webservice again for 3CX. We are able to modify the webservice when needed.
